San Antonio, Texas, October 30, 2013: Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Lana Duke presented the fifth annual 2013 San Antonio Make a Difference Awards on Tuesday, October 29th at the new Ruth’s Chris River Walk at the Grand Hyatt. The Make A Difference Awards were inspired by Lana Duke’s commitment to the children of Roy Maas’ Youth Alternatives (RMYA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the care of abused, neglected, and abandoned children. The organization is the beneficiary of the event, and over $100,000 was raised to benefit the children and programs of the agency. The Make a Difference Awards honor individuals, businesses, groups, non-profits and youth who give back to the San Antonio community and to celebrate the “unsung heroes” in our community.
